Milestone Pediatrics strives not only to provide the best services to our clients, but also to give back to our community.

Milestone Pediatrics was awarded the 2016 Bright futures Women in Business Award from The Mercury and BBVA Compass Bank.

By bridging the two organizations, Rebeca Lopez, CEO and Co- Founder, plans to remove the gap between two countries, by providing the same resources to both sides of the border.
She recently traveled to Obregon, Sonora Mexico to provide advocacy and support, for individuals with disabilities, by donating therapy materials and educating families.

Philanthropy

Milestone Pediatrics was given the opportunity to travel to Nogales, Sonora, Mexico to educate the families of Asociacion Down De Nogales and donate therapy materials to the school.

Community Partnerships

Milestone Pediatrics in partnership with outside organizations, strive to advocate for our community with developmental disabilities. The owners of Milestone stay involved by being active board members of Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona and ASU Hispanic Business Alumni. Rebeca Lopez, Owner, and Co- Founder is also an advocate for the Hispanic Community and is the Spanish Chapter Leader for Sharing Down Syndrome Az.

Our alliance with organizations outside of Milestone Pediatrics, such as Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona, strengthens to develop and build inclusion for our families, and promote healthy communities.

Through inclusive education, children with disabilities remain on a path that leads to an adult life as a participating member of society.

By building relationships with our families, we establish the trust families need to be successful in raising their children in a community where inclusion will be practiced.

Our staff at Milestone Pediatrics take pride in packing Thanksgiving food boxes for our clients who are needing the extra help during the holidays.
