Rebeca As Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Milestone Pediatrics, Rebeca Lopez is responsible for the business operations of the company. Milestone Pediatrics is an organization dedicated to the needs of individuals with disabilities. Milestone Provides Respite, Habilitation and a wide array of therapy services. Rebeca brings more than 20 years of experience to Milestone Pediatrics ranging from non-profit work, entrepreneurship, leadership boards to philanthropy abroad. Her experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering driven business services focused on disabilities, providing outstanding client service, and driving revenue growth. Rebeca is passionate about being an inspiration to the Latino Community. She is a servant leader and social entrepreneur who has spent her career advocating for individuals with disabilities to achieve their fullest potential. Rebeca travels to various parts of Mexico to deliver therapy materials and to educate families on disabilities. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, an organization advocating for Tucson’s small business community and The University of Arizona Banner Health- All of us Research Program. Most recently, Rebeca served on the board of directors for Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona and also served as their Hispanic chapter leader for their parent support groups. Rebeca also served as the membership Committee chair and mentor for the scholarship recipients of the Arizona State University Hispanic Business Alumni Association. Rebeca has been recognized as a panel guest for the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPHA) in partnership with ASU Hispanic Business alumni on the power of networking and entrepreneurship. She was the recipient of the 2015 Hispanic Business Salute Award from Telemundo, the 2018 40 under 40 award from the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and most recently Milestone received the 2019 Small Business Community Impact award from the Phoenix Business Journal. Rebeca is an avid Arizona Wildcat, having graduated as a double alumnus from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Administration in 2005. In 2019, she earned an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management with a graduate certificate in Healthcare Law and Policy from the James E. Rogers College of Law. Rebeca especially values being able to make a real difference in families lives. She really values the important role Milestone Pediatrics plays in the community by offering a holiday toy drive and the Thanksgiving basket drive to families in need every year. Originally from Tucson, when she’s not volunteering, Rebeca loves to spend time with her husband and her two sons on the lake and also writing her book about Down Syndrome. |
Lyndsey is President and Co-Founder of Milestone Pediatrics, LLC. Her background in the disabilities community began more than 14 years ago in the Child Development Lab at Arizona State University, working as a student researcher on; Parent–Child Predictors of Social Competence with Peers in Children With and Without Autism. Throughout her education, she continued to study child development, family dynamics, parent/adolescent relationships, and graduated with an emphasis in infancy. She began her professional career as a Developmental Specialist providing one-on-one intervention to children ages 0-3, addressing motor skills, social skills, and language develop in the Early Intervention program. Lyndsey currently manages the clinical operations at Milestone Pediatrics in the Therapy Program at all three clinic locations as well as teletherapy and home-based therapy services. In addition to her love of working with children with developmental disabilities, she’s always been passionate about supporting parents and their journey, whether they are a parent of a child with a disability, parent of multiples, or parent of a premature infant. For over five years, she served on the executive board for a local non-profit supporting parents of multiples and provided mentorship to new moms. Lyndsey currently sits on the Therapy Committee for Arizona Association of Providers for People with Developmental Disabilities. Lyndsey received the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award in 2019. Lyndsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University, in Family and Human Development with an Emphasis in Infancy. |
