Applied Behavior Analysis has been identified as an evidence-based treatment approach for individuals with autism. In this six-part training series you will learn about strategies that can used in your parenting, teaching or support of an individual with autism. Video, group based activities, and role-play will help you understand how some of the basic principles of ABA can be used to strengthen and teach new skills and replace challenging behaviors. Register for any or all of the topics offered in the series! This training is ideal for parents, professionals, educators and anyone caring for and teaching an individual with autism of any age or level of functioning.

Child Crisis Arizona licenses, trains and supports foster and adoptive families, and provides early childhood education and resources for families through its early education services, parenting classes, workshops and playgroups.

Southwest Human Development has opened the state’s first comprehensive facility serving Arizona children ages birth to 5 with disabilities and behavioral challenges. At the Children’s Developmental Center, parents work with a team of pediatric professionals for expert assessments and individualized treatment plans. Services include: comprehensive developmental assessments; a feeding program for infants and young children; autism services; occupational, physical and speech therapy; psychology and counseling services and assistive technology services.

Provides free, comprehensive out-of-school time programs that empower youth ages 5 to 18 to be productive, self-confident and responsible citizens. Offers after-school and summer/intersession programs that foster positive attitudes while discouraging destructive behavior. Open to youth from Chandler and other areas of the Valley. All program services and activities are free of charge, including transportation to and from site and healthy snacks for all program participants.
